R-Day parade: The majestic Republic Day parade that takes place on Rajpath in Delhi is truly a sight to watch. The best part about this event is that, since it happens in the morning, you’ll have the rest of your Sunday free. Tickets for the parade are priced at Rs300 and Rs150 for reserved and Rs50 and Rs10 for unreserved.

Piya Behroopia: This is a two-and-a-half hour play – a Hindi adaption – based on Shakespeare’s 12 night and has the trademark Shakespearean combination of cruelty with comedy. Directed by Atul Kumar, tickets are between Rs300-500 and the play will be presented on Saturday as well as Sunday at 7pm.

Pokey LaFarge: Pokey LaFarge is a musician and songwriter who will treat you to his mix of early jazz, country blues and western swing. He will be playing at Windmills Craftworks every night till Sunday. Tickets costs Rs500.

Madras Market: This shopping extravaganza will bring together music, food, entertainment, workshops, games and of course, shopping. They have over 150 stalls at the market which is on for both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets cost Rs50 per day.
